Do I need a credit card for the free plan?+
No. The free plan includes 3 show-note generations per month and one demo run for each paid AI tool.
What happens after I use a free tool demo?+
That specific paid tool is locked until you upgrade to Starter or Pro. Free SEO, description, and public episode idea tools remain available.
What files can I upload?+
Podraft accepts .txt, .srt, and .vtt files up to 5MB. Files are validated server-side before processing.
Is my transcript used for training?+
Podraft does not train models on your transcript. Your data is used only to generate your requested assets.
What is the transcript limit?+
Each generation is capped at 50,000 characters to control cost, latency, and model reliability.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Paid subscriptions are managed through Lemon Squeezy and can be changed or canceled from the billing page.
Which AI model powers Podraft?+
Podraft uses the Anthropic Claude API. Focused tools use the configured fast Claude tool model by default, while the main generator uses the configured primary model.
Do I need Firebase?+
No. Podraft uses Clerk for auth, Supabase for the database, Lemon Squeezy for billing, Upstash for rate limiting, and Anthropic for AI generation.
Is Podraft mobile friendly?+
Yes. The full interface is designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
